Close all your Microsoft Office application (Word, Outlook, etc.).
Renaming normal.dot and let Microsoft Word figure it out by himself.
Uncheck the box Prompt to save Normal template.
Scroll down until you find the heading Save.
Make sure you’ve opened Microsoft Word.
